A Day in the Garage for the TCF Boys

The 4th August 2018, a day many of us want to forget as quickly as we can. Boiling hot temperatures mixed with working on the cars all day in the garage. But everything went well, with no breakages, so that is one positive to take away from the day. 

Mitch Baldwin’s Fiesta ST was in for new rear beam bushes, the standard bushes had failed due to age and hard use. In their place would be Powerflex Polyurethane bushes.

Donington Park Track Day

On the 12th July many of our members joined Circuit Days on one of there evening sessions at Donington Park. 

The evening was full of sunshine, lots of smiles, some great driving and everyone thoroughly enjoyed there time on a very well organised and ran evening trackday.

MK Indy RR // How to Crash at Curborough

Will sent us this amazing footage from our event on the 29th April, and it was too good not to share. 

Although a very experienced driver, it definitely shows how quickly it can all go wrong. 

We’re glad both car and driver got aware in the majority scratch free, just some small work was needed back at the manufacturers after the incident. 

​We’re looking forward to seeing Will at another event soon. 

Curborough Sprint / Breakfast Meet 29/04/18

Sunday the 29th April will definitely be one event for us to remember. A great mix of cars, great people, some spectacular driving on the day and thankfully the weather stayed dry on the most part.

Breakfast Meet – 29th April at Curborough

We have some amazing news!

We’ll be hosting our very first breakfast meet as a club at our sprint event home, Curborough Sprint Course in Fradley. The event will take place.on Sunday 29th April.

We have an event taking during the day, with food and refreshments available from 10am.

Spectators of all backgrounds are welcome to come along, we run a family friendly day that makes a great opportunity to meet like minded people.

Our First Sprint Event of 2018 is now Live!

Yes you read the title correctly, after a very long wait since our last event in October 2017 we are finally happy to announce our latest installment.

On the 29th March, we will be back in action at Curborough Sprint Course with the cob-webs officially being blown off the timing gear.

Audi R8 V10 + Anglesey = What Could Be Better!

Regular track goer, and supercar owner Adam Hazell took his Audi R8 v10 to Anglesey at the weekend with The Supercar Driver club.

​Having previously driven Blyton, Donington, Curborough and Millbrook Proving Grounds it was time to take the R8 to a new track to see how the v10 performed.
The day was in aid of Help For Heroes, a charity to help ex service men and women. Adam took part in giving passenger rides around the track.

Ben Copson Taking on Time Attack

A good friend and fellow petrol head, Ben Copson, is taking part in one of the best championships in the UK, Time Attack. 

We have been given the fantastic opportunity of following his progress throughout the 2018 season, but before all that kicks off Ben took part in the 2017 season finale at Rockingham. 
​We have moved away from our previous style of write ups, and now opting for an online magazine approach. We hope you enjoy it, leave us some feedback as we always look forward to trying new ways of displaying our content.

Featured Car Blog – Aron Burley’s Honda S2000

Our next featured car is Aron Burley’s Honda S2000. 

And this is no ordinary S2000. Aron has spent numerous hours converting his pride and joy into the ultimate track weapon which we have had the pleasure of viewing on a number of occasions. 
The project has come a long way in just 18 months, and has big plans for 2018! This is one project we will definitely be revisiting.
