13 of us descended onto the racetrack yesterday at Daytona Karting, Tamworth.
The event we had chosen was the DMAX Open Sprint Race consisting of a 10 minute practice/qualifier session followed by a 20 minute race in their brand new 125cc 2-Stroke DMAX Go-Karts. We would use the full 1000m GP layout for this activity.
A full breakdown of times can be seen below, along with the GoPro videos of the race.
Here it is, the write up (in the pdf. down below) and a couple of photos from the event we’ve been excited about and planning since June!
The Chequered Flag and TrackAddict getting together at Curborough Sprint Course for what was lining up to be, a pretty awesome way to spend a Monday.
We did had a slight “technical” hitch which meant no laptimes where recorded once the guys really got to know the circuit. we had the times from the first couple of laps, but this period is all about getting to know the circuit so it isn’t much point delving into them too deeply. However we will come back stronger for the next event with a new method and revised timing gear.
It was great to meet everyone on this event, and hopefully we’ll see you again soon.
Our second featured car blog for The Chequered Flag, and what a car to do it on!
I’m sure many of you on social media will follow #TrackAddict on both Facebook and Instagram, and in preparation for our Sprint Event partnership next week at Curborough Sprint Course, we thought what better way to kick off a brilliant event by featuring Jay’s Ford Puma.
Please go check out the #TrackAddict media pages, I’m sure they won’t dissapoint;
