As part of continued development with ‘The Chequered Flag’ website we are adding a new feature, our favourite driving roads bought to you by the members of the group.
These roads will be handpicked by the team but can also be submitted by you! All you have to do is get in contact with us via the contact page, or on our social media platforms and let us know what your favourite road is and why. Over the next few weeks we will be gathering all the information and plotting an interactive map for all like minded petrol heads to use and enjoy.
With great attendance from The Chequered Flag regular sprint goers at Curborough Sprint Course, 4 kit cars and 6 completely new people to our events, this one was going to be a special sprint event from the off.
This event would also be the first where we’d use our new lighting system to indicate to the drivers the track is clear and they can begin their lap. A separate right up will be issued out in the next week or so on this within the blog.
The usual post event write up is below, along with the lap times from the event.
If you are interested in attending an event either to take part or just spectate, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
With our visit to Wales in July, The Chequered Flag group didn’t get chance to hold a sprint event at Curborough Sprint Course, so we made sure we where back on form for August.
We had great attendance again and a mix of drivers and cars. The day was predominantly held for the Midlands ST Owners Club (A Ford club based in the midlands). but with a few spare places on offer the day was opened up the to the rest of The Chequered Flag group on Facebook.
The usual write up and photos are below (a special thanks to Rob Elliot and Dave Robinson for the photos)
