The 4th August 2018, a day many of us want to forget as quickly as we can. Boiling hot temperatures mixed with working on the cars all day in the garage. But everything went well, with no breakages, so that is one positive to take away from the day.
Mitch Baldwin’s Fiesta ST was in for new rear beam bushes, the standard bushes had failed due to age and hard use. In their place would be Powerflex Polyurethane bushes.
Regular track goer, and supercar owner Adam Hazell took his Audi R8 v10 to Anglesey at the weekend with The Supercar Driver club.
Having previously driven Blyton, Donington, Curborough and Millbrook Proving Grounds it was time to take the R8 to a new track to see how the v10 performed. The day was in aid of Help For Heroes, a charity to help ex service men and women. Adam took part in giving passenger rides around the track.
A good friend and fellow petrol head, Ben Copson, is taking part in one of the best championships in the UK, Time Attack.
We have been given the fantastic opportunity of following his progress throughout the 2018 season, but before all that kicks off Ben took part in the 2017 season finale at Rockingham. We have moved away from our previous style of write ups, and now opting for an online magazine approach. We hope you enjoy it, leave us some feedback as we always look forward to trying new ways of displaying our content.
Our next featured car is Aron Burley’s Honda S2000.
And this is no ordinary S2000. Aron has spent numerous hours converting his pride and joy into the ultimate track weapon which we have had the pleasure of viewing on a number of occasions. The project has come a long way in just 18 months, and has big plans for 2018! This is one project we will definitely be revisiting.
